Spain // February 2027 // EE
Trip Overview
Join Engedi Español as we partner with Project Miklat, a ministry that seeks to support the deep spiritual and practical needs of refugees entering Spain. Many of these refugees are coming from areas that are considered unreached with the gospel of Christ, including North Africa, the Middle East, and other areas.Current worldwide crises forcing people out of their homes are abundant, whether it be war, armed conflicts, economic crisis, or spiritual persecution, and Spain has opened its doors to receiving refugees from all around the globe. In the first half of 2024, more than 100,000 people arrived in Spain seeking asylum. Málaga is one of Spain's three host cities for refugee asylum, and Project Miklat seeks to support them during their resettlement process to bring them from a place of vulnerability and uncertainty to stability.
During this trip, you will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of ministry opportunities such as food and clothing distribution, after-school programs, language classes, and relational ministry including Bible studies.
This trip is perfect for those who enjoy relational ministry focus (with a touch of hands-on service), have a heart for diverse, marginalized people groups, and want to grow in their understanding of reaching the unreached for Christ in this global era.
