Trip Overview

During this summer opportunity, Engedi will come alongside the Caribbean Christian Centre for the Deaf in their vision to reach, teach, and nurture the Deaf of Jamaica. Worldwide, the Deaf are an unreached people group with limited access to scripture and discipleship opportunities due to significant barriers in language access and community services. Trip members will have the opportunity to stay at CCCD's residential K-12 school in Kingston, where they will invest in and encourage the staff and students at the school, serve through hands-on projects, and learn much about Deaf culture and gospel access. Participants will have the opportunity to see different parts of the island as they travel to other CCCD campuses.

This trip is perfect for those who are flexible, have a desire to learn, and enjoy both hands-on and relational ministry. Participants must be able to commit to monthly team meetings, participating in group fundraisers and meeting personal fundraising deadlines, and reading trip curriculum materials.
