Trip Overview
Join Engedi Students as we come alongside Manos de Jesus, a Jesus-centered ministry that exists to holistically care for orphans and widows in Chichicastenango, Guatemala. Students will have the opportunity to pour into this community through tangible acts of service, building relationships, and learning about the context of ministry in this area of strong Mayan roots.This trip is perfect for high school students who desire to be the hands and feet of Jesus, grow in their faith, and experience what it looks like to serve cross-culturally. Students must be able to commit to monthly team meetings, participating in group fundraisers and meeting personal fundraising deadlines, and reading trip curriculum materials.

Requirements
Prerequisites
- Background Check is required for students ages 18 or older
Restrictions
- This trip is open to students entering grades 9-12 in the fall of 2023
- Students must actively attend Engedi and/or Engedi Students
Preparation
- Pray about the opportunity and ask God to help you discern if this is the right trip for you
- Fill out the trip application.
- A trip leader will get in touch and schedule a 1-on-1 interview
- $100 non-refundable deposit due upon confirmation of your participation on the trip
- If you do not have a passport, apply for one as soon as possible. Passports must be valid for 6 months following the trip.
- Trip participants must commit to attending regular team meetings and reading trip curriculum materials
