Trip Overview

Join Engedi Member Care in the invitation to support a regional conference for long-term workers serving in Europe, North Africa, and North America, who work primarily among people groups of Muslim background. The team will support this conference by helping to run the children's and/or teen program. This will be an incredible opportunity to pour into "third culture kids" and to design an engaging program that will encourage them with the love of Jesus. Most children attending this conference will be TCKs coming from a non-American culture and from schools very different from the US. In order to best assist the Kids’ Program Workers, children, and parents, the conference will have a TCK liaison couple available for support.

The conference will take place in Marathon, Greece at a beachside conference center known for hosting Christian groups. The children's programs are able to utilize designated rooms for children's spaces, swimming pools, the beach, and sports facilities on the conference grounds, as well as the possibility of sightseeing in the area with older age groups. The program will run approximately around 9am-1pm and 4pm to 7pm. Children will take meals with their families, and volunteer teams will have free time and be welcome to enjoy the Conference Center and/or any conference events in their off-time.

This trip is perfect for Member Care volunteers who have a heart for missionary kids and who are ready to engage relationally with the next generation. In addition to relational skills, this team seeks members who are gifted in program coordination and planning, flexibility, and having fun!
