Trip Overview

Join other Engedi adults as we come alongside the association Amis des Etudiants du Monde (AEM), which means "Friends of the Students of the World." AEM welcomes international students and researchers from all cultural and religious backgrounds into France with the hospitality of Christ. In the Greater Paris area (12.3 million people), about 45% of the population are either immigrant (25%) or born to at least one immigrant parent (20%), with people coming from North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, Middle East, and other places in Europe. France hosts 400,000-500,000 international students annually, many of whom are based in Paris. This context provides an extraordinary opportunity to share the love of Jesus with those for whom the gospel is much more difficult to access in their home cultures.

The purpose of this team will be heavily rooted in prayer - the cornerstone of AEM that lays the foundation for all of their work amongst international university students. Come and witness firsthand the power of prayer, how your prayers change when you practice presence with others, and fight the heavenly battle for the unreached students in this "city of light."
